Basecrete Liquid Waterproofing Bondcoat Part 1 (Must use both part's 1 & 2)

APPLICATION METHODS

A. Tools Basecrete can be applied by Trowel, Roller (3/4" nap), Brush, Squeegee or Spray

B. Thickness Apply BaseCrete in two (2) layers, one vertically, one horizontally. Each layer should be 1 /16" thick for a total of 1 /8" thickness to achieve a waterproof bond coat. Second layer can be applied 24 hours after the first coat. *Ambient temperature, Indoor/Outdoor will extend or accelerate cure times.

C. Special Applications - BaseCrete can be built up in 2" increments and feather edge. D. For best resutls allow 24 cure times between coats.

COVERAGE

Coverage is approximate for one coat. Slump can be adjusted to accommodate specific job requirements by adjusting the liquid or the compound - do not add water to the mix.

A. Trowel. .. 1 gallon & 1 x 50Ib bag = 40-50 sq ft @ 1 /8"
B. Roller ... 5 gallons & 3 x 50Ib bags= 400-450 sq ft @25-30 mil
C. Squeegee ... 5 gallons & 3 x 50Ib bags= 250-275 sq ft @40mil
D. Spray ... 5 gallons & 2 x 50Ib bags= 375-450 sq ft@ 10-30 mil

    Basecrete is applied as a kit consisting of one bucket and 3 bags of will adhere to most surfaces, is resistant to most chemicals and corrosive agents and can withstand a high degree of movement while maintaining its integrity.

    Basecrete protects the underlying structure against the corrosive elements often found in water such as salt. Basecrete is also completely resistant to all the chemicals used in pool maintenance. In industrial applications Basecrete will protect the underlying structure against the destructive effects of many acids and other corrosive agents.

    Basecrete can be used to protect new construction against deterioration from above agents as well as to repair structures that have already suffered deterioration as a result of water infiltration and/or the effects of corrosive agents.
