Sand Filter Replacement

Sand filters are a great option for keeping swimming pools clean. 

These filters use natural sand or recycled glass as a filtering agent, trapping debris as it passes through so that only clean water is pumped into your pool. Because sand filters don’t have paper or fiber parts to clog or tear, they can often go for years with only minimal maintenance being required to keep them in good running condition.

Filter Replacement

Replace existing failed filter with a new filter of same model or type.

  • Disconnection from existing plumbing utilizing unions, if no unions are present, the filter will be cut out.
  • Removal of the filter media.
  • Old filter and media left on site for local disposal.
  • Remove existing filter.
  • Installation of new filter is the same location of old filter.
  • Connection of multiport to the filter union.
  • Installation of filter media per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Start up and test system for proper working order.
