Replacing Your Auto Cover Fabric

If your cover fabric showing signs of wear.... it may be time to replace it!

Poolblu can replace your auto cover fabric when it is torn or no longer providing a safe space for your family and friends. Along with the new fabric, we can replace all worn out glides, slides and pulleys as needed.

Are there signs of wear and aging such as cracks or peeling?

• Chemicals, temperature variations and ultra violet light can break down the pool cover fabric over time. If you see signs of aging, the fabric may need to be replaced.

Is the cover fabric pliable or brittle?

• When a cover becomes too stiff and brittle, there’s a good chance the fabric may need to be replaced.

Is the webbing stitching frayed?

• On standard pool covers, sewn threads can become frayed, cut or disintegrate over time, leading to cover failure.
